Perlane® is made from a purified, colorless hyaluronic acid, a sugar found naturally in the body that works with collagen to keep the skin smooth and supple. Once injected, it supplements the body's natural supply which becomes depleted with age. It is hypoallergenic and so does not require a pre-treatment skin test. With its unique ability to bind with water, Perlane® continues to perform up to 60% longer than collagen.

Perlane® is biodegradable so its effects are not permanent. Each patient's individual needs and results will vary, along with the absorption rate of any cosmetic filler. Consequently, additional treatments will be needed in order to maintain optimal correction.

Juvéderm™
Juvéderm™ injectable gel is a next-generation dermal filler. It is a colorless hyaluronic acid gel that is injected into facial tissue to smooth wrinkles and folds, especially those around the nose and mouth, like your "smile lines" or "parentheses" (nasolabial folds: the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth).
