Roger Koreen, M.D., F.A.A.D. has been practicing medicine for over 15 years and has extensive experience in Dermatologic and Cosmetic laser surgery. Dr. Koreen returned to his home town of Huntington in 1991 to join Dr. Erwin Zimmerman's practice. Today, he is honored to have improved the lives of over 70,000 patients while carrying on the tradition of excellence founded by Dr. Zimmerman nearly four decades ago.
Dr. Koreen received his medical degree from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, completing his internships at New York University and Bellevue hospitals. He served his Dermatology residency at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Medical Institute and is a member of the exclusive Alpha Omega Alpha honorary medical society, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Koreen is an active member of the Medical Society of the State of New York, the Long Island and Suffolk County Dermatological Societies. He is on the staff of the Huntington Hospital.

When you choose a dermatologist, you are also choosing the staff. Our medically trained staff works as a team and is devoted to making each visit here beneficial, informative and pleasant. Our educational classes, videos, and literature contain current information designed to assist you in making educated choices regarding your skin's health. We will provide customized treatment programs in order to resolve existing skin conditions and prevent future problems from arising. Our facility is staffed by a highly professional team of Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and business personnel. Our staff pride themselves in giving personal attention and are dedicated to providing friendly, caring and compassionate service to all our patients.
Physician Assistant
Suzanne Brook is a physician's assistant who has been diagnosing and treating skin diseases with us for over five years. She has a special interest in skin cancer, acne and cosmetic treatments.
Licensed Esthetician
Joyce Russo is our licensed esthetician/cosmetologist on staff to evaluate and analyze your cosmetic and aesthetic skin care needs. She will recommend the best facial treatments to help you look and feel your best.
Fees and Insurance
Just as we are committed to providing quality care, we are concerned with keeping your medical costs as low as possible. One way we do this is by requesting payment at the time of each visit and eliminating costly billing procedures.
Insurance Payments:
We do not accept assignment of payment. However, we will provide you with a superbill that you may file with your insurance company and receive reimbursement from them.
Medicare
We participate in the Medicare program, thereby limiting patient co-payments to 20% of the fee after meeting the yearly deductible.
HMOs/PMOs
We participate in many HMO and PMO arrangements. Please contact the office to inquire about your particular plan.
